Walker bands play in their spring concert. Starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Walker auditorium.
Walker Debate Club Demonstration Monday, May 14
Come and enjoy an evening with Walker's newly formed Debate Club. Students will demonstrate the skills they have learned to express their point of view on a variety of fun topics. Debate Club is one of many after school clubs here at Walker that make up the EDGE Program. The Debate Club begins at 6:30 p.m.in the Walker Cafeteria.
Walker Drama Club Performance May 17
Students involved in Walker's Drama Club as part of the EDGE Afterschool Program proudly present Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at 6:30 p.m. in the Walker auditorium. In this timeless classic, Willy Wonka, a crazy chocolatier, opens his chocolate factory doors for the first time to five lucky children who have randomly purchased the coveted chocolate bars containing the golden ticket. Besides a lifetime supply of chocolate, the children get a chance to tour the mysterious factory. Throughout their journey in Wonka's factory the children seem to encounter all sorts of silliness that just doesn't seem ordinary. The show will include the annual Walker Oscars and a cast party following the performance.
