The Clark Library instructional goals are: to provide a rich literature-related program which will play a vital part in the development of a life long relationship with libraries, books and reading; and to ensure that each child acquires the information literacy skills necessary to become a self-reliant, lifelong learner.
Students may visit the library every day to exchange books, to do research, to read or be read to and/or to take Accelerated Reader tests. The library also participates in Virginia Young Readers program, the Virginia Festival of the Book and building level reading programs.
The library has both an electronic circulation and catalog system with two search stations. There are 3 computers for Accelerated Reader testing which is also available in the classrooms. Three computers have internet access for internet related activities.
